Raíces Algodonera

Raíces Algodonera (Cotton Roots)- an ode to my grandmother, who's parents migrated from Mexico to El Paso to provide their children a better life. My grandma and her siblings worked alongside their parents, picking cotton to earn a living.

A core memory I hold is my grandma always checking clothing tags because she needed every shirt to be 100% cotton. This candle smells like fresh cotton blossom in her memory
